New Harbor in Copenhagen is a perfect example of a shift in times, an example of gentrification in Copenhagen. When it was built in the 1700's it was a place where the non-belongers hung out. In newer times, however, it has become a place for belongers. Thus it went from being a street of thieves, hookers, and extruders to becoming a beacon of Copenhagen. Somehow, a reminder that even though the journey might be far it will prove worthwhile in the end.
